Dear Substance Abuse Professional,
The Board just concluded its Annual Meeting in Wilmington, NC. It was a great pleasure to have our board members participate in the trainings offered by the North Carolina Foundation of Alcohol and Drug Studies.
The Board also bid farewell to Mark Crabtree as board member. Mark served actively as chair of the Quality Assurance Committee during a time of unparalleled growth of addictions counselor licensure.
This meeting was also the last meeting under the presidency of Danny Graves. Danny was, and will continue to be, a powerful advocate for our profession. He was involved heavily in codifying supervision standards and represents North Carolina on the international stage by serving as chair of the Clinical Supervisor Committee of the IC&RC.
