2015 Election is Underway!

The North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board conducts election(s) from its body every year in the Spring.

Only fully licensed or certified persons are eligible to vote. Each qualifying professional shall have one (1) vote. In addition, only fully licensed or certified professionals may run for a Board seat. LCAS-Associates and CSAC-Interns may not hold a Board seat or run for a seat on the Board.

A qualifying professional may vote in all races on the ballot. For example, a person living in the Eastern district will be able to vote for all races, including the race for the Western District seat.
